TMR Frugal Living Tip #21

Today's thrifty tip is use white sugar to exfoliate your hands. Yep plain white sugar. There are several techniques but here is an easy one. I put a small amount of hand lotion (anything but Vaseline Intensive Care works great), and a small amount of white sugar. Just rub your hands together like you are washing (don't get them wet). I do this for about 2-3 minutes. Then rinse off in warm water and dry. You will be amazed at how soft your hands will feel. I wouldn't recommend this on your face.

Ooh I like this tip! In the winter my hands get really dry and this would work great to get all that flaky skin off before putting lotion on, thanks - I'll remember this one!
