A Talking Watch?
There are so many great gadgets available, and some of these are very helpful for the elderly or someone with special needs. I came across a site that sells talking watches. The watch will tell the time in a clear voice. There is a nice variety of styles and are very affordable. This would make a great gift for someone that could use the extra assistance.

These are great for people who are blind, or partially blind. They kind of annoy others around them, but great gift idea, for anyone who is visually impaired.
